Why is Stansted so much dearer than Bristol when the mileage is so close?
Bristol and Stansted are only around six miles apart in distance from Fareham — but the roads couldn't be more different. The Stansted run joins the M25 and stays on it for a long stretch, one of the most consistently congested orbital roads in the country, before a final crawl up the M11. The Bristol run spends more of its time on the quieter A34 through Newbury before picking up the M4.
